Kelly Lund worked many years as a staff agricultural engineer with the Department of Agriculture in Alberta. Much of her work was related to on-farm energy conservation and modelling, including the technical review side of work on a Net Zero Energy Laying Barn research project. She was also behind some key renewable energy grant programs specific for farms, including a solar PV pilot back in 2010, that was later followed by a larger solar PV program. Kelly is always pleased to travel to be able to share information on the idea of Net Zero Energy buildings for the livestock industry.
