Anke Wierenga farms with her husband and 3 kids in Olds, Alberta. They have 60,000 broilers and farm 5,000 acres. Anke is mainly focused on the financial and administrating part of the operation. She has a Masters of Science degree in Animals Science and a Bachelors of Science degree in Agribusiness. She keeps up with the latest developments in the industry and is eager to enhance and share her knowledge of the agricultural sector. She is very involved in the community, volunteers at the school of their children, local Soccer Association and 4H Club. She has a passion for animals and enjoys tending to their flock of sheep and other animals on the farm.
